Susie Alarie has been employed at England & Associates for three years as a Vocational Research Specialist and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. She has participated in comprehensive Initial Vocational Interviews, Vocational Testing, and Forensic CaseSusie Alarie Evaluations. Ms. Alarie has demonstrated skills with Transferable Skills Analysis, Labor Market Survey Research and Claim Medical Records Review. She has worked with Clients involved in litigated Dissolutions, Workers Compensation Claims, Long-Term Disability, Auto Injury and Personal Injury. She has participated in the evaluation and testing of Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) Clients referred to England & Associates for Comprehensive Vocational Evaluations.

Ms. Alarie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a Minor in Business and Graphic Design at Indiana University. She received her Masters of Arts in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida (USF), Sarasota Campus. Ms. Alarie currently works as a Mental Health / Substance Abuse Counselor at First Step of Sarasota, while maintaining her position at England & Associates.

Ms. Alarie participated at the 2007 Florida Occupational Nurses Conference in Orlando as a presenter with Mr. England at the England & Associates provider display. She has worked on the development of marketing for the Case Management Tracking System – CMTS developed by England & Associates. She worked with Mr. England to present professional Vocational Evaluation Services and the CMTS Software at the 2007 IARP-Florida Workshop held at Stetson College of Law in Tampa. Ms. Alarie attended the 2008 and 2009 Florida Workers Compensation Institute (FWCI) Workers Compensation Conference in Orlando to represent England & Associates.

Ms. Alarie is a member of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP). She worked with the IARP-Florida Chapter as a volunteer to present services of members at the FWCI Workers Compensation Conferences in 2008 and 2009.

She continues to work at England & Associates as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with certain specific areas of expertise. Ms. Alarie has obtained her Florida Bureau of Rehabilitation & Reemployment Services (BRRS) Qualified Rehabilitation Provider designation. She now accepts direct referrals from BRRS for provision of Reemployment Services from her office at England & Associates. With her interest in Mental Health Counseling and Family Law, she has become involved with Divorce Case Evaluations, Testing and Rehabilitation Plan Development.

Ms. Alarie plans to continue her work as a Therapist and private sector Rehabilitation Counselor. She is pursuing her licensure as a Mental Health Therapist and also as Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator. In her spare moments, weekends and holidays, Susie enjoys running, kayaking and biking the Sarasota trails. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her black Labrador.
